Syed Sarwar Sadi, Bhuiyanpur Correspondent: The awards were presented to meritorious students at the initiative of the Pratibha Student Organization in Bhuiyanpur, Tangail.
The event was organized at the organization’s temporary office at Musharraf Sir Rekha Complex in the city on Friday.
The function was presided over by Shahriar Hossain, Head of the English Department of Ibrahim Khan Government College, and was attended by Assistant Commissioner Land and Executive Magistrate Md. Tariqul Islam as the chief guest. Special guests included Bhuiyanpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge AKM Rezaul Karim, former Head of the Zoology Department of Ibrahim Khan College Mirza Mohiuddin Ahmed, Press Club President Abdur Razzak, Journalist Akhtar Hossain Khan, Press Club Vice President Syed Sarwar Sadi Raju, Gopalpur Press Club General Secretary Santosh Kumar Dutta, Sammilit Sangskritik Jote General Secretary Hasan Sarwar Lavlu, Social Worker Khairuzzaman Bhuiyan, along with teachers, students and guardians.
The organization has been conducting education-friendly activities for a long time, and this year’s event is a continuation of that. In this, 100 meritorious students were awarded scholarships, certificates, crests, and cash.
