Power Grid Bangladesh PLC, a publicly listed company on the stock market, has returned to profitability after two consecutive years of losses. The company released its unaudited financial report for the first quarter (July–September 2025), ending on September 30, 2025.
The report was approved and published following a board meeting held on Sunday (November 9), according to company sources.
As per the financial statement, the company reported an earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 3.98 for the first quarter of the current fiscal year. In contrast, during the same period last year, it had recorded a loss per share of Tk 2.81.
Power Grid’s cash flow per share also improved to Tk 7.01, up from Tk 5.74 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Additionally, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 145.23 as of September 30, 2025.
Market analysts noted that the turnaround marks a significant recovery for the company, reflecting improved financial performance and operational efficiency after a prolonged period of losses.
