Nuruddin Md. Sadeq Hossain Steps Down as MD of Southeast Bank

Southeast Bank’s Managing Director, Nuruddin Md. Sadeq Hossain, has stepped down. He submitted his resignation to the bank’s Chairman on July 28, 2025, due to health issues.

Previously, on May 4 of this year, the bank’s board of directors placed Nuruddin Md. Sadeq Hossain on a three-month leave, which was effective until August 4. During this period, Additional Managing Director Mr. Abidur Rahman Chowdhury took on the role of Managing Director (Current Responsibilities) of the bank.

Earlier, on April 5, 2023, Nuruddin Md. Sadeq Hossain was appointed as the Managing Director of Southeast Bank. Before this role, he held the position of Deputy Managing Director (DMD) at the bank.
