It will be known on Tuesday (December 3) whether the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is increasing or decreasing in December. The new price of LPG for one month will be announced this afternoon.
This information was given by the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) on Monday (December 2).
It said that the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission’s instructions regarding the adjustment of private LPG prices at the consumer level for this month according to the Saudi CP for December (2024) announced by Saudi Aramco will be announced at 3 pm on Tuesday.
Earlier, the price of a 12 kg cylinder for the month of November was reduced by 1 taka to 1,455 taka compared to October. And the price was increased in October, September, August and July. However, the price was reduced in June, May and April. In addition, BERC increased the price of LPG in March, February and January.
Along with LPG, BERC also reduced the price of autogas in November. In November, the consumer price of autogas, including VAT, was reduced by 3 paisa per liter to Tk 66.81. The price was increased in October, September, August and July. However, the price was reduced in June, May and April.
