A Based Panchagarh Correspondent: Nezarat Deputy Collector (NDC) Aminul Haque Tareq, who is stationed at the Panchagarh District Commissioner’s Office, has received the National Award for Tobacco Control.
The award was officially presented by Nurjahan Begum, Advisor to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in the category of Best Mobile Court Operator during the World No Tobacco Day event held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka last Saturday.
It has been reported that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare initiated the national award for tobacco control to recognize significant contributions to tobacco control efforts nationwide. Previously, one ward, union, municipality, upazila, and district were chosen for this honor. Panchagarh NDC Aminul Haque Tareq was awarded in the Best Mobile Court Operator category within the District Task Force.
Since his appointment in Panchagarh, this young officer has efficiently managed various administrative tasks, including operating the mobile court.
Panchagarh Nezarat Deputy Collector and Executive Magistrate Aminul Haque Tarek expressed his happiness, stating, “I am very pleased. Any achievement boosts my motivation to work. This recognition will further inspire me. Our success is due to the support of everyone, including the Deputy Commissioner. I am hopeful that with continued cooperation and support, we will accomplish many more positive initiatives.
