NCC Bank Launches 4 New Women’s Banking Products under “Parama”

NCC Bank has launched four new banking products aimed at empowering women and fostering financial inclusion within the national economy. The new offerings—Parama Nari Shomota, Parama Power Saver, Parama Payroll, and Parama Fixed Deposit—are designed to support women customers and entrepreneurs with attractive terms and conditions. This initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to customer-centric products, quality service, and technology-driven banking solutions. Chairman of the Bank, Md. Nurun Newaz Salim, Chairman of the Executive Committee Khairul Alam Chaklader, Director Syed Asif Nizamuddin, Independent Director & Chairman of the Audit Committee Meer Sajed-Ul-Basher FCA and Managing Director M. Shamsul Arefin launched four new Women’s Banking products recently at the Palace Luxury Resort at Habiganj, Sylhet on the occasion of Annual Business Conference-2025.

Deputy Managing Directors, Head of Business & Branches along with different division heads of NCC Bank PLC. were also present at the launching ceremony.

Chairman of the Bank, Md. Nurun Newaz Salim highlighted the significant role women play in Bangladesh’s socio-economic landscape and emphasized that the new products are tailored to support the financial growth and entrepreneurial development of women. He expressed confidence that these services would contribute positively to the economic empowerment of female customers.

Managing Director M. Shamsul Arefin shared that NCC Bank has launched a women’s banking initiative called “NCC Parama”. He highlighted that the bank had previously introduced various deposit and loan products tailored to women, along with lifestyle services through their Debit, Credit, and Prepaid Cards, which had been particularly well-received by female customers in a short time. He further elaborated on the product features, which include up to 90% secured loan facilities on deposit for “Parama Nari Shomota and Parama Fixed Deposit”, a special savings account “Parama Power Saver”, and “Parama Payroll”, a service for female employees of organizations partnered with the bank for payroll agreements. He expressed hope that these customized services would greatly benefit women, assisting them in meeting their financial requirements.
