A 123-member committee has been formed by the Nationalist Bankers Association Sonali Bank PLC.
Former Chhatra Dal central parliament executive member and Senior Principal Officer of Sonali Bank Mahbub Sohel Bappi has been appointed as the chairman of the committee, while former Dhaka University Chhatra Dal leader and Principal Officer of Sonali Bank Md. Shahe Alam has been appointed as the general secretary.
The committee includes Midford branch manager Md. Shahjahan Siraj and Segunbagicha branch manager Md. Shafiqur Rahman as senior vice presidents, Sohel Raihan as senior joint general secretary, and Md. Abu Nayem as organizing secretary.
The committee was approved by the convener of the Nationalist Bankers Association Central Committee, Md. Iqbal Hossain (Janata Bank) and member secretary, Md. Mostafizur Rahman Mostaq (Sonali Bank).
