Mrinal Kanti Roy, Tangail: The National and International Sports Day 2025 was celebrated on Sunday under the slogan “Youth Participation, Quality Improvement in Sports” organized by the Tangail District Administration and District Sports Association.
A colorful rally was held in front of the District Commissioner’s office in the morning on the occasion of the Sports Day and a discussion meeting was held after the parade of the main roads. The function was presided over by Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate Sharifa Haque in the conference room of the District Commissioner.
Local Government Deputy Director Md Shihab Rayhan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Mahbub Hasan, Upazila Executive Officer Nahida Akhter, District sports officer Md Afaz Uddin and members and players of the District Sports Association were present.
