Mr. Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan has been elected Chairman of Rupali Insurance Company Limited for the second consecutive term at the 217th Board Meeting which was held on October 29, 2025 at Rupali Bima Bhaban. Mr. Sobhan is the only son of former BGMEA President Mostafa Golam Quddus, founder of Rupali Insurance Co. Ltd., Sonali Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and Dragon Sweater & Spinning Ltd. Mr. Sobhan is also the Honorary Consul of Uruguay in Bangladesh and the Managing Director of Dragon Group. His re-appointment reflects the Board’s continued confidence in his leadership and vision for the company’s future.
