Monir Hossain Takes Charge as BSEC Director

The capital market watchdog Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has named Mohammad Monir Hossain Howlader as its director. He will be in charge of the department that deals with financial institutions. At the moment, he is the agency’s joint director.
A notice in this respect was released on Wednesday, July 16, and was signed by Abul Hayat Md. Rafiq, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration.

According to the statement, the public interest order will take effect right away.
