Panchagarh Correspondent: Panchagarh District Agricultural Extension Department Deputy Director, Agriculturist Abdul Matin said that the agricultural practice of producing foreign export crops by applying Good Cultural Practice or modern good cultivation methods should be introduced in the country’s agricultural sector. Because the Agriculture Department is working tirelessly to make the crops produced in our agriculturally major country suitable for export abroad. He said that the Program on Agricultural and Rural Transformation for Nutrition Entrepreneurship and Resilience in Bangladesh (Partner) Program aims to ensure sustainable development in the agriculture and nutrition sectors. The goal of this program is not only to produce food, but also to build a healthy and self-reliant population by ensuring nutritional quality. This Partner Program provides training to farmers directly at the field level through Krishak School. Farmers are taught by hand when to apply which fertilizer and how much. He said the above while speaking as the chief guest at the ”Partner Congress” meeting organized by the Department of Agricultural Extension, Tentulia at the Upazila Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center this Tuesday morning.
