Mrinal Kanti Roy, Tangail Correspondent: A discussion meeting titled “The Role of Educational Stakeholders in Improving the Quality of Education” was held on Sunday morning at the Tangail Shilpakala Academy building. The Chief Guest at the event was Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar, Adviser to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.

The meeting was presided over by Tangail Deputy Commissioner Sharifa Haque. Also speaking at the event were Abu Taher Md. Masud Rana, Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education; Md. Azmul Haque, Additional Divisional Commissioner; and Abu Nur Md. Shamsuzzaman, Director General of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.

Following the event, at noon, Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar inaugurated the newly constructed playground of Bagbari Choubari Government Primary School in Katuli Union of Tangail Sadar Upazila. Teachers from various government primary schools, officials of the local administration, and other stakeholders were present at the time.

Later, he visited several primary schools in the district and praised the district administration for establishing playgrounds.
