Md. Zakir Anam Promoted to Additional Managing Director of NCC Bank

Md. Zakir Anam has been promoted to the position of Additional Managing Director (AMD) of NCC Bank PLC. Prior to his promotion, he served as Deputy Managing Director, where he was responsible for Corporate Banking, International Trade Finance, Remittance, and several other key divisions at the Bank’s Head Office. Since joining NCC Bank in October 2016, he has held a number of important leadership positions, including Branch Manager of Banani Branch as Executive Vice President and later Branch Manager of Gulshan Branch as Senior Executive Vice President, making significant contributions to the Bank’s business growth and operational excellence.

Md. Zakir Anam began his banking career in 1995 with Prime Bank PLC. He subsequently served with distinction as Branch Manager at various corporate branches of EXIM Bank PLC, Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, and Midland Bank PLC. He possesses more than 31 years of extensive experience in foreign trade, credit management, and branch banking.

Throughout his banking career, Mr. Anam has received numerous accolades in recognition of his outstanding performance and leadership, including the Chairman’s Best Manager Award, Appreciation Awards, and two Gold Medals. He has also been honored with several other awards for his exceptional contributions to the banking industry.
