Mohammad Hanif, the first elected successful mayor of undivided Dhaka, will be remembered on Tuesday, November 28, the 17th anniversary of his death.

At 10:30 am on that day, a prayer meeting will be held at the Mayor Mohammad Hanif Jama Mosque in Azimpur, where people of all levels, including the Awami League and its affiliated organizations, will participate to remember Hanif’s eventful life.

Bangladesh Awami League Central Executive Committee Member and first elected Mayor of Dhaka South Mohammad Said Khokon, along with other Awami League leaders, will be present at the prayer meeting.
