Krishi Bank organizes special program to mark Tarique’s return

On the occasion of the return to the country of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, a special program was organized under a joint initiative of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees Union (B-985), CBA, and the Jatiyatabadi Forum.

As part of the program, arrangements were made to broadcast live, via a giant screen at the bank’s head office, the significant moments of his return to the country. Officers and employees from various levels of the bank participated collectively in the program. At the same time, comments from officers and employees were recorded in a 500-page comment book.

Leaders of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees Union (B-985), CBA, and the Jatiyatabadi Forum stated that, in the context of the country’s current political situation, this return would be regarded as an important chapter in the development of democratic practices and institutional stability. They expressed hope that under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, the country’s democratic process would be further strengthened and would play a positive role in establishing the rightful demands of the people.

Present on the occasion were the Chief Coordinator of the Jatiyatabadi Forum (Deputy General Manager) Md. Zahid Hossain, one of the Coordinators (Deputy General Manager) Syed Liaqat Hossain, President of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees Union (B-985), CBA, Faiz Uddin Ahmed, General Secretary Md. Miraj Hossain, along with other officers and employees.
