BARI Held on research and youth thinking training workshop

The Training and Communication Wing of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) Held on research and youth thinking training workshop for Youth at the Institute’s Kazi Badruddoza auditorium (28 December 2025). Students of BARI High School, young agricultural entrepreneurs and various stakeholders related to agriculture participated in this program. The program was a part of the celebration of “Youth Festival-2025”.

In the training workshop BARI’s Director (Training and communication) Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman presided over the session while Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed was present as chief guest. At this time, Director (Horticulture Research Center) Dr. Faruque Ahmed present as special guest in this program. Divisional Head, senior scientists from various center/division/section of BARI were present there also. The “Youth Festival” program was co-ordinated by Senior Scientific Officer (Training and Communication Wing) Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman.

Various improved varieties, modern cultivation methods, environment-friendly agricultural technologies and exportable agricultural products invented by BARI were displayed at the training workshop. The participants got acquainted with these technologies and visited various stalls. This program will creating interest in agriculture among the youth and developing agriculture-based entrepreneurs.
