The Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) commemorated the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and National Children’s Day on March 17th, 2024.
A delegation led by BKB Chairman Md. Nasiruzzaman, Managing Director Md. Shawkat Ali Khan, and Board Director Mrityunjoy Saha paid homage at Bangabandhu’s memorial in Dhanmondi 32.
The bank observed the day with various programs. These included: Hoisting the national flag at the BKB head office. A special prayer session seeking blessings for Bangabandhu’s departed soul. Laying a floral wreath at the Mujib Corner within the bank’s headquarters. An art competition and speech contest for children centered around Bangabandhu’s historic 7th March speech.
Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Chanu Gopal Ghosh, Khan Iqubal Hossain, and Salma Banu, along with General Managers, Deputy General Managers, CBA representatives, and leaders from partner organizations, were present at the ceremony.
