Agrani Bank Plc observed the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and National Children’s Day on March 17th, 2024.

A delegation from the bank’s Board of Directors, led by Mofiz Uddin Ahmed, KMN Manjurul Haque Lablu, and Md. Shahadat Hossain FCA, paid homage by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at his residence in Dhanmondi 32. Managing Director and CEO Md. Murshedul Kabir and Deputy Managing Director Wahida Begum accompanied the delegation. General Managers, Senior Executives, representatives from various organizations, and Agrani Bank employees were also present.

The bank’s celebration extended beyond the wreath-laying ceremony.  A floral tribute was paid to the mural of Bangabandhu located at the bank’s head office. Additionally, the bank building was illuminated, and colorful advertisements were placed in national newspapers. All branches and regional offices also organized various events to commemorate the national occasions.
