Karmasangsthan Bank signs agreement with DBBL

An agreement on the collection of loan instalments and savings deposits of Karmasangsthan Bank borrowers through the digital service network of Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC was signed on Tuesday, 7 April 2026, at Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon in Dhaka.

The agreement was signed on behalf of their respective organisations by General Manager of the Operations and Accounts Division of Karmasangsthan Bank Md Shafiqul Islam Miah and Head of Branch Operations and Liabilities Division of Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC Abdullah Al Masud.

The signing ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karmasangsthan Bank and former secretary Dr AFM Matiur Rahman, Managing Director Arun Kumar Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Meher Sultana, General Managers Mahmuda Yasmin and Md Amirul Islam, along with all deputy general managers of the head office.

Managing Director and CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC Md Ehteshamul Haque Khan, Deputy Managing Directors Md Abedur Rahman Sikder and Md Shahadat Hossain, along with senior executives of the organisation, were also present at the event.

As a result of the agreement, 230,000 borrowers from 289 branches of Karmasangsthan Bank will be able to deposit loan instalments and savings through 243 branches, 307 sub-branches, 5,620 agent banking outlets of Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC, and 340,000 agent points of mobile banking service Rocket.
