Juba Dal demonstration and gathering in Jhenaidah

Imran Jhenaidah Correspondent:  The Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal organized a protest march and rally in Jhenaidah to express their concerns over the decline of law and order and the chaos caused by secret organizations nationwide.

On Thursday, the protest commenced in front of Wazir Ali Secondary School in the city at 11:30 am. The procession traversed the key roads of the city and concluded with a brief rally at Payra Chattar.

District Jubo Dal President Ahsan Habib Ronak chaired the rally, with District BNP President Advocate MA Majid serving as the chief guest.

District Jubo Dal General Secretary Ashraful Islam Pintu facilitated the event. Attendees included District BNP Vice President Munshi Kamal Azad Pannu, General Secretary Zahiduzzaman Mona, Senior Joint General Secretary Abdul Majid Biswas, Vice President Enamul Haque Mukul, Joint Secretary M Shahjahan Ali, District Chhatra Dal President Saminuzzaman Samin, General Secretary Mushfiqur Rahman Manik, among others. The speakers at the rally asserted that secret organizations are attempting to instigate chaos to undermine democracy and disrupt the law and order in the country. They noted that the defeated forces of 71 have begun a smear campaign against the Zia family and Tarique Rahman. During this time, the speakers vehemently condemned and protested the violent assault by the banned organizations Chhatra League-Jub League on the NCP march in Gopalganj, demanding the apprehension of the perpetrators.
