Janata Bank holds training on foreign exchange and trade finance

Janata Bank PLC Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman inaugurated a 15-day training course titled “Foreign Exchange and International Trade Finance (Batch 01/26)” at the bank’s staff college in Dhaka.

The program, organized by Janata Bank Staff College, is being attended by 25 officials from different branches of the bank.

Speaking at the inaugural session, the Managing Director highlighted the bank’s important role in the country’s foreign trade sector. He also provided guidance on expanding foreign trade operations and strengthening the bank’s position in international business.

He emphasized that foreign trade activities present a major opportunity for generating non-interest income. The training aims to enhance the professional skills of participants and improve the overall quality of trade finance services.

Senior executives and faculty members of the staff college were present at the event.
