Janata Bank Holds Prayer Program for Begum Khaleda Zia

A day-long Qur’an recitation (Khatm-e-Qur’an) and prayer program was organized on Thursday, 1 January, by the Janata Bank Nationalist Employees’ Union, seeking the forgiveness of the soul of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

A special prayer was held after Asr at the prayer hall of Janata Bank’s Head Office. Those present at the prayer program included Bank Chairman Md. Fazlur Rahman, Director Md. Obaidul Haque, Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Fayez Alam and Kazi Abdur Rahman, Central President of the Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal Anwar Hossain and Joint General Secretary Mostafizul Karim Majumdar, President of the Janata Bank Nationalist Employees’ Union Md. Rafikul Islam and General Secretary Md. Ilias Khan.

Also present were GMs and DGMs of the Head Office, along with executives, officers, and employees of all levels, leaders of officers’ associations, and CBA leaders from other banks.
