Janata Bank PLC has achieved the distinction of becoming the third-highest remittance-collecting bank in the 2024–25 fiscal year.
On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at a ceremony held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital marking International Migrants Day and National Expatriates’ Day 2024, the chief guest was Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser to the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
At the event, Janata Bank’s Managing Director, Md. Mujibur Rahman, received the Remittance Award 2025 from Dr. Asif Nazrul, Adviser to the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment.
