A session called “Innovation Showcasing” took place in the Manikganj district’s Dera Resort conference hall. Subordinate offices participated in the training, which was arranged as part of the E-Governance and Innovation Action Plan 2025–2026. This two-day training was attended by four groups in total. In order to improve the customer-friendliness and digitization of four crucial BHBFC citizen services, the groups worked hands-on on comprehensive analysis, process step reduction, and online technology transfer strategies.
Under the direction and guidance of Farida Yasmin, Joint Secretary and Innovation Officer of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance, a comprehensive concept paper was prepared on the detailed aspects of making these services online-compatible, along with formulating up-to-date and modern process maps for these four services. In the final session of the workshop, the idea titled “Simplification of Returning Mortgage Deeds and Other Documents Online” was selected as the best innovative concept among the four. The selected best concept will later be presented at the ministry level in the competition of excellence among similar innovative concepts from other institutions.
Mr. A.S.M. Abdul Halim, Chairman of the Corporation’s Board of Directors, was present as the chief guest at both the opening and closing ceremonies of this workshop. Mr. Md. Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of BHBFC, presided over both events. Mr. Md. Noor Alam Sardar, Deputy Managing Director of the Corporation, coordinated the entire proceedings in addition to attending the event as a special guest. The concerned General Managers and Deputy General Managers of BHBFC played an active role in this workshop.
