BM Desk: On the second working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) is trading higher. In the first two hours of trading today, Tk 190 crore was exchanged.
This information was disclosed by Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources.
According to the source, the DSE’s main index, or ‘DSEX’, increased by 32.77 points to 4,756 points one and a half hours after trading began on Monday (June 16), or until 12 PM.
Along with the main index, the Shariah index, or ‘DSES’, increased by 8.64 points, while the ‘DS-30′ index increased by 7.94 points, reaching 1,037 and 1,779 points, respectively.
The DSE traded a total of Tk 190 crore 66 lakh 34 thousand shares and units within the specified time period.
During this period, 284 companies’ share prices climbed, 38 declined, and 60 remained steady.
