BM Desk :Â Sarah Cooke, the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, met with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Monday to discuss the impending national election and the country’s current political situation.
The meeting, which lasted more than an hour, began about 10:30 p.m. at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan, according to BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan, as reported by UNB.
Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, and Organising Secretary Shama Obaed attended the meeting as well.
