Mrinal Tangail Correspondent: Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Sharifa Haque officially launched the construction of an internal road measuring approximately 300 feet in length, connecting the DC Court to the Judge Court (across the southern lake to the CGM Court) in the Tangail District Headquarters. During this event, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that to ease public hardship, directives have been issued to the relevant authorities to promptly repair and renovate all roads in the district headquarters that are salvageable. This initiative aims to alleviate public distress and reduce traffic congestion ahead of the upcoming Eid celebrations. Shambhu Ram Pal, the Executive Engineer of the Tangail Public Works Department, stated that the development of all roads will occur in phases. On the morning of May 29,
Local residents expressed their satisfaction with the commencement of this road project. They commend the district administration for taking such an initiative, even if it comes later than expected. Numerous roads in Tangail city are currently in poor condition and require repairs. Present at the event were Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Md Al-Amin Kabir, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Md Mohaiminul Islam, Deputy Assistant Engineer Md Al Amin, Sub-Divisional Engineer Sirajul Islam, among others.
