Mrinal Tangail Correspondent: With the slogan “Let’s change the country, let’s change the world,” the Inter-College Football Tournament of Tangail district was inaugurated in celebration of Youth Festival 2025. The tournament was inaugurated on Sunday morning, 30 November, at the Tangail Stadium by the Deputy Commissioner, Sharifa Haque.
During the event, the District Commissioner said that sports are essential to protect students from drugs. Presided over by Additional District Commissioner (General) Sanjoy Kumar Mohanta, four college football teams participated in the opening match. A total of 16 colleges will take part in the tournament, which will run from 30 November to 4 December, concluding with the final match.
Organized by the Tangail District Administration and the District Sports Office, the event was attended by Assistant Commissioners and Executive Magistrates Labibuzzaman Mustabeen and T.M.A. Mukit, District Sports Officer Md. Rafiqul Islam, Office Assistant Md. Kamrul Hasan (Rony), and others.
