IFIC Bank PLC, the largest bank in the country with 1,414 branches and sub-branches (Uposhakhas), successfully held its Uposhakha Business Meet 2025 on Monday (July 21 2025) at the Multipurpose Hall of IFIC Tower, Head Office, Purana Paltan, Dhaka.

The event was graced by IFIC Bank’s Honorable Chairman, Mr. Md. Mehmood Husain, as Chief Guest. Managing Director Mr. Syed Mansur Mustafa, Deputy Managing Directors and senior officials were also present. Held in a hybrid format, over 2500 officers from across the country joined virtually.

In his remarks, Mr. Mehmood Husain credited the bank’s ongoing achievement to the trust of its customers and the dedication of its employees, noting the Uposhakhas strong deposit performance even during the sector’s recent challenges. He expressed confidence in IFIC becoming the preferred banking partner at the grassroots level.

Managing Director Mr. Syed Mansur Mustafa emphasized the role of the bank’s energetic and widespread workforce, reaffirming IFIC’s commitment to career development initiatives.

The program opened with a strategic overview by DMD & Chief of Branch Business, Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam and concluded with a Q&A session with participating officers.
