IFIC Bank Hosts “Festival of Youth 2025” in Barishal

With the aim of providing the youth with basic knowledge of banking, cultivating a habit of saving and offering insights into financial management, IFIC Bank has organized a special workshop on financial literacy in Barishal under the guidance of Bangladesh Bank, as part of the “Festival of Youth 2025.” The workshop, held on 12 November 2025 in collaboration with the University of Barishal, took place at the university auditorium.

Presided over by Mr. Md. Asiqur Rahman, Acting Chairman of the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, Barishal University, the program was attended by Mr. Modhusudan Banik, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Barishal Office, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Md. Imtiaz Ahmad Masum, Director, Bangladesh Bank Barishal Office, and Mr. Khandaker Anwar Ehtesham, Head of Branding, Communications & Corporate Affairs of IFIC Bank, were present as Special Guests.

With participation from more than 150 students, the workshop aimed to enhance the financial knowledge and management skills of young learners. Mr. Md. Symum Rezwan from IFIC Bank, served as the resource person and provided guidance on essential financial management practices, professional skill development, and preparation for future technology-driven challenges.

IFIC Bank continues to promote financial literacy across the country, conducting year-round awareness programs in urban, rural, and educational institutions to build a financially informed generation.
