IFIC Bank Celebrates International Women’s Day 2025 with Special Event 

IFIC Bank PLC proudly celebrated International Women’s Day 2025 with a special event held at IFIC Tower on Thursday, March 6, 2025, reinforcing its commitment to fostering an inclusive and merit-based workplace. The event was presided over by the Managing Director, Mr. Syed Mansur Mustafa, who attended as the Chief Guest.

In his address, Mr. Mansur highlighted the significant strides IFIC Bank has made in transforming into a meritocracy-driven and inclusive organization. He emphasized the bank’s dedication to promoting gender equality and fostering a competitive work environment. Currently, 30% of IFIC Bank’s workforce comprises female employees—one of the highest ratios in the banking industry. Furthermore, 283 business branches and uposhakhas are directly led by female employees, underscoring the bank’s leading role in women’s empowerment within the sector.

The event was graced by members of the Senior Management Team, including Deputy Managing Director Md. Rafiqul Islam, Md. Monitur Rahman, K. A. R. M. Mostofa Kamal, and Iqbal Parvez Chowdhury, along with other officials from the Head Office. Senior employees actively participated in discussions and initiatives aligned with this year’s international theme, #AccelerateAction, which emphasizes IFIC Bank’s continued efforts to champion gender inclusivity in the workplace.
