IFIC and Transcom Electronics sign memorandum of understanding

IFIC Bank PLC and Transcom Electronics Limited, one of the country’s renowned organizations, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, at a ceremony held at IFIC Tower in Dhaka in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.

In the presence of Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Credit Officer of IFIC Bank, the MoU was signed on behalf of the Bank by Mr. Helal Ahmed, Chief of Branch Business and Head of Operations. On behalf of Transcom Electronics Limited, the MoU was signed by Mr. Shib Pada Dey, Chief Financial Officer of the organization.

Mr. Md. Zakir Hossain, Head of Cards and Digital Banking of IFIC Bank, was present at the ceremony. From Transcom Electronics Limited, Mr. Tariqul Islam, Manager, Finance and Accounts, was also present. Other senior officials from both organizations also attended the event.

Under this MoU, IFIC Bank credit cardholders will be able to enjoy EMI facilities of up to 36 months on all products of Transcom Electronics Limited. Through this facility, customers will have the opportunity to purchase their necessary electronics and home appliance products through easy and convenient installment options.
