ICB Islamic Bank launches second phase of six-day foundation training course

ICB Islamic Bank Limited has launched the second phase of its six-day Foundation Training Course at the bank’s Training Centre, aimed at enhancing banking operations and ensuring modern customer service.

The training programme was formally inaugurated by Mamunur Rahman, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank and Administrator of ICB Islamic Bank Limited.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Sumanta Kumar Saha, CFA, Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank and the official assigned to assist the bank’s administrator, attended as a special guest.

Among the invited guests were Md. Kamal Hossain, Executive Vice President and Regional Head (Rajshahi and Khulna) of ICB Islamic Bank, and Masud Hasan, Vice President and Head of Human Resources Division. The overall training programme is being supervised by Parvez Yusuf Chowdhury, Head of the ICB Islamic Bank Training Centre.

A total of 26 officers from various branches and departments of the bank are participating in the programme. The six-day course covers key aspects of banking operations, customer service, and professional skill development to strengthen institutional efficiency and service quality.

The training course is scheduled to conclude on June 11.
