B Mirror Desk : Hasnat Abdullah, the chief organizer for the southern region of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has declared a large assembly following Jummah prayers on Friday to advocate for a prohibition on the Awami League. He stated that the event will take place in front of the fountain on the eastern side of Jamuna, the residence of the chief advisor.

He urged individuals from all political backgrounds and beliefs to participate in the event. Hasnat mentioned, ‘The construction of a stage in front of the fountain has commenced. There will be a massive turnout after Friday prayers.

Today, they will see who genuinely seeks to have the Awami League banned.’ He made this announcement around 8:30 am on Friday during the ongoing protest outside Jamuna, where a press conference was also conducted after 8:00 am. We have raised that demand both outside and inside the government. Yet today, after nine months, we are once again compelled to take to the streets to demand the banning of the Awami League.”

NCP leaders and activists staged a protest outside the chief adviser’s residence, Jamuna, captured in a photo taken at 6:00 am by Noman Siddique.
