Listed food and agro-products manufacturer Golden Harvest Agro Industries Limited has decided to install a new paratha production line at its Gazipur factory to meet the growing market demand for the product and enhance its production capacity.
The decision was disclosed in a price-sensitive information (PSI) notice published on the websites of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) on Thursday.
According to the company, its 183rd Board of Directors meeting, held on June 17, approved the purchase and installation of the new production line as part of its ongoing business expansion strategy.
Golden Harvest said the new facility is expected to significantly increase its overall paratha production capacity, strengthen product supply in the market, and help meet rising consumer demand.
However, the company did not disclose details regarding the estimated investment cost, installation timeline, or the extent of the anticipated increase in production capacity.
According to DSE disclosures, the initiative forms part of Golden Harvest Agro’s broader business expansion plans aimed at supporting future growth and responding to changing market needs.
