Under the country’s automatic price adjustment system, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has increased the price of all types of fuel by Tk 2 per liter for the month of December.
The prices were adjusted yesterday, Sunday, in line with fluctuations in the global market and according to the revised pricing policy. The new prices will take effect from today, Monday.
According to the new decision, the price of diesel has been increased from Tk 102 to Tk 104, octane from Tk 122 to Tk 124, petrol from Tk 118 to Tk 120, and kerosene from Tk 114 to Tk 116 per liter.
The information was announced in a notice signed by Mohammad Arif Sadek, Information and Public Relations Officer of the ministry.
