Former NCC Bank Chairman and Philanthropist SM Abu Mohsin Dies at 72

B Mirror Desk: Former Director and former Chairman of NCC Bank as well as a leading industrialist & philanthropist of the country SM Abu Mohsin passed away on Monday (07/10/2024) at 3:00 P.M. at Apollo Imperial Hospitals, Chattogram due to heart attack. (Innalillahi Oinna Elaihe Rajiun).

He was 72. He left behind his wife, four sons and a good numbers of well wishers.
SM Abu Mohsin was born in a respectable Muslim family of Chittagong in 1952.

Mr. Mohsin was the Chairman of Alliance Deep Sea Fishing Ltd., JM Shipping Lines, Food & Accommodation Co. Ltd. and Managing Director of Brothers Oxygen Ltd. His father Late SM Mozaherul Haq was the Founder of Mozaher Group and Mr. Mohsin was also a director of this group. Mr. SM Abu Mohsin was the Chairman of Continental Insurance Ltd. and Director of Central Hospital Ltd. He was associated with many social and educational organizations.
