Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) director Farhana Farooqui has been appointed as the new spokesperson of the capital market regulatory body. He will serve in place of Mohammad Rezaul Karim, the executive director and newly appointed spokesperson of the commission.

This information was informed in an office order issued by the administration and finance department of BSEC on Tuesday (August 27).

According to information, BSEC’s spokesperson will be done by Commission Director Farhana Farooqui, which will be considered as her additional responsibility.

During the performance of this duty, he will be entitled to allowances and other facilities as per rules.
