B Mirror Desk : Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim administration, will meet with representatives from eight political parties and groups, including Gana Odhikar Parishad, Islami Andolan Bangladesh, and Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh. The meeting is scheduled for Sunday evening, May 25, at Jamuna, the chief advisor’s official residence.
On Saturday, May 24, the Islamic Andolan released a press release to the media announcing the gathering. According to the statement, Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, the Ameer and Charmonai Pir of the Islamic Andolan, will attend the meeting on behalf of his party in Jamuna at 5:45 p.m.
Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party), Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Islam, Gana Odhikar Parishad, Nezame Islami Party, Hefazat-e-Islam, and key leaders of the Bangladeshi Khelafat Majlis will attend the meeting in addition to the Islamic Andolan. Political leaders will advise the interim administration on elections, reforms, and measures to guarantee justice for the dictatorship’s participants during the meeting.
