The decision was taken at the board meeting held at the company’s corporate office on Paschim Panthpath in Rajdhari on Thursday (September 5) afternoon. This information is known from Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources.

According to sources, the company officials expect to start commercial production of this new project next year, i.e. June 2025.

The total investment for the project is estimated at Tk 23.70 crore, with a financing structure of 70 percent debt and 30 percent self-employment.

The new project is designed with a capacity to process approximately 12 metric tonnes of waste fabric per day, which will be converted into 98 per cent recycled yarn through the recovery process.
