Education system needs to be changed for smart Bangladesh

According to Hafiz Muhammad Hasan Babu, chairman of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the prime minister presented the idea of “Digital Bangladesh” to the country. Bangladesh faces the formidable foe of smart Bangladesh.

Speaking as an expert panelist at the Bangladesh University Grants Commission’s workshop on education, research, and innovation to create a smart Bangladesh as part of the execution of the e-governance and innovation action plan 2023–24, he made these remarks on Monday.

It is scheduled to be put into effect by 2041, making Bangladesh a developed nation. Intelligent Bangladesh will require skilled labor and modifications to the educational system.

Sajjad Hossain, a member of the UGC, attended as the special guest. It was presided over by Fakhrul Islam, director of the UGC Publication and Research Support Division.
