BMirror Desk: On Sunday, the National Economic Council’s Executive Committee (Ecnec) authorized 16 projects totaling an estimated Tk24,247 crore.
The government will cover Tk3,134 crore of the overall cost, with Tk16,719 crore coming from project loans and Tk4,426 crore coming from the departments’ own finances.
The Ecnec meeting, held in the Planning Commission’s NEC conference room, was presided over by Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Following the meeting, Dr. Wahiduddin Mahmud, the planning adviser, gave reporters a briefing.
