The Department of Offsite Supervision of Bangladesh Bank issued the directive on Wednesday (December 4) in response to the bank’s application.

The central bank’s notification said that the application of Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC to temporarily suspend core banking services for five days (from January 1 to 5) and agent banking services for seven days (December 30 to January 5) has been approved for the purpose of smoothly completing the migration work to the new core banking software.
