DU holds a lecture on ‘Revenue for Development’

Dhaka University arranged a special lecture on Wednesday called “Revenue for Development,” which took place in the auditorium of the Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhavan.

According to a press release, the ceremony was presided over by ASM Maksud Kamal, vice-chancellor of Dhaka University. Senior secretary Abu Hena Rahmatul Munim of the Ministry of Finance, Department of Internal Resources, and National Revenue Board gave a special lecture. 

Mumtaz Uddin Ahmed, the treasurer of Dhaka University, was a special guest speaker. The welcome speech was given by Teachers’ Association President Nizamul Haque Bhuiyan. Rownak Afroz, the Tax Commissioner for Tax Zone Dhaka-11, was present for the event. Praveer Kumar Sarkar, Registrar, led the program.
