DPDC inaugurates Two new substations in Dhaka

BM Desk:

The Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC) inaugurated two new substations in the capital on Tuesday: Adabor 33/11kV and Manda 33/11kV.

DPDC Chairman Habibur Rahman was the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony, according to a press release.

The construction of these substations was part of a project agreed upon in 2016 by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In line with the project’s ongoing progress, DPDC and the Chinese company TBEA jointly inaugurated the two newly built substations.

TBEA Vice President Jackie Chen Dong and DPDC Managing Director Bikash Dewan were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
