DSE sees a mixed trend in last trading before Eid

T. The prices of 148 companies’ shares that participated in the trading session saw a decline, while the overall trading volume in taka also experienced a decrease.

This information was provided by sources from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

As reported, on Thursday (March 27), the DSE’s main index, known as ‘DSEX,’ rose by 4.95 points, bringing it to a current level of 5,219 points.

Additionally, the ‘DSES’ index saw a slight increase of 0.07 points, reaching 1,168 points, while the ‘DS-30’ index fell by 3.37 points, now standing at 1,914 points.

Today, shares and units valued at Tk 315.940 crore were traded on the DSE, a decrease from Tk 386.47 crore traded on the previous working day.

In total, shares and units from 397 companies were exchanged on the DSE today. Among these, 178 companies experienced an increase in share prices, while 148 companies saw a decline. Furthermore, the prices of shares and units for 71 companies remained stable.
