The overall price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio at the country’s prime stock exchange, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), increased during the outgoing week (April 19–23), according to the DSE’s weekly market review.
Data shows that the P/E ratio stood at 9.36 points at the beginning of the week and rose to 9.42 points by the end of the week. This marks an increase of 0.06 points, or 0.64 percent, over the course of the week.
