Interim Government’s Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus on Thursday (August 29) afternoon, Swiss Ambassador Reto Rengli asked for this cooperation when he visited the state guest house at Yamuna.
Dr. Yunus said that a lot of stolen money was smuggled abroad. It is very important to get this money back.At the time, the ambassador said, Switzerland always adheres to globally recognized methods and standards. We are willing to cooperate in line with the proposals made in recent years.
He said Switzerland will support the interim government and strengthen economic ties with the country. I really hope that the business environment in Bangladesh will grow further.
The ambassador expressed concern about the development of Rakhine state bordering Bangladesh.
