DMP gifts chocolates to 1.5 million students on their 49th anniversary

On the occasion of the 49th founding anniversary of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, chocolates were distributed to over 1,500 educational institutions in the capital on Thursday. 

On Wednesday, chocolates were distributed among secondary, higher secondary school, madrasa and college level students studying in DMP area.

Police Inspector Operation Subrata, Aftab Uddin Chowdhury, Headmaster of the institution, Javed Ahmed, President of the School Managing Committe and many other teachers and students were present at the chocolate distribution ceremony of Haji Moazzem School in Demra.

According to DMP, chocolates have been distributed among 11 lakh 53 thousand students of 1674 educational institutions of the capital. 

On February 1, 1976, Dhaka Metropolitan Police marched with 6,000 policemen and 12 police stations.
