Completed credit rating of four companies

Credit rating of four institutions listed in the capital market has been completed. The two companies are – Square Textile Limited, Aramit Cement, Nahi Aluminum Composite and Popular Life Insurance Company Limited.

This information is known from Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources.

According to sources, Square Textile’s credit rating has been assessed by Credit Rating Information and Services Limited. The company is rated ‘AA+’ for long term and ‘ST-1’ for short term. This rating has been determined based on the audited financial report for the financial year ended on June 30, 2024 and the unaudited financial report on September 30, 2024.

Besides, Aramit Cement’s credit rating has been assessed by Credit Rating Information and Services Limited. The company is rated ‘BB+’ for long term and ‘ST-5’ for short term. The rating has been determined based on the audited financial report for the financial year ended June 30, 2024 and the unaudited financial report as on September 30, 2024.

Nahi Aluminum’s credit rating has been assessed by Emerging National Credit Rating Limited. The company is rated ‘A-‘ for long term and ‘ST-3’ for short term. This rating has been determined based on the audited financial report for the financial year ended on June 30, 2024.

Credit rating of Popular Life Insurance has been determined by National Credit Rating Limited. The company is rated ‘AAA’ for long term and ‘ST-1’ for short term. This rating has been determined according to the audited financial report for the financial year ended on December 31, 2024.
